I think every Christian, especially artists, should read the newsletter posted above. It provides an excellent argument for the importance of Christians engaging in art & beauty.
In a world with such differing viewpoints on what should be considered “art,” we as Christians should have a good understanding of how art fits into the Biblical worldview, and how we can honor God with it in our own personal walks with Him. Otherwise we will get absorbed into any cultural opinion that seems pleasant to our ears. There is no easy black and white answer when it comes to art, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t strive to find a view of art for ourselves that honors the Word, and then live by it.
